Migrate Wordpress Blog to AEM Sites

Initialyze was tasked with migrating the corporate blog for ServiceNow from Wordpress to AEM. There were over 2000+ blog articles which needed to be migrated to a new unified AEM Sites platform using new creative. The migration required considering an existing Content and AEM architecture in which the content, components and templates needed to be integrated while ensuring ease of authoring for the the digital marketing team.

We leveraged AEM Initialyzer + Blog Plus framework to quickly bootstrap a new AEM application for the blog section. We provided editable templates and feature-packed components to support a modern blog design. Using Automated scripts we migrated blog posts from Wordpress to AEM, while closely collaboration with Marketing Technology teams ensuring seamless integration with existing applications and deployment pipelines. With our thorough documentation and authoring team training we ensured managing the new blog was effortless and alongside other pages in AEM
